Born in Hong Kong in 1998, Tiffany Sia is an artist, filmmaker and writer. Grounded in a writing and research practice, Sia is interested in bringing tensions through multidisciplinary forms to unsettle stubborn notions of geography, genre and time. Materializing across film/video and printed matter, her recent work explores the politics and relations of media circulation and the discrete histories of port cities. Her films have screened at the New York Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, MoMA Documentary Fortnight, Flaherty Film Seminar, Open City Documentary Film Festival and more.
