Oliver Chan Siu-kuen holds a Master of Fine Arts in Film, Television and Digital Media from Hong Kong Baptist University. In 2019, Chan won Best New Director at the 13th Asian Film Awards and 38th Hong Kong Film Awards, as well as the Golden Mulberry Audience and Black Dragon Critics Awards at the 21st Far East Film Festival in Udine with her first feature film Still Human.
